Out of Nowhere, Life Falls Apart!

Life is drifting along beautifully without a worry in the world and then out of nowhere the unexpected happens!  Like a sail boat carelessly drifting out at sea, enjoying the sunset, the air with an aroma that you can almost put your arms around, feeling the peaceful breeze without a care in the world!

And then without warning and expectation it happens! Immediately your world falls apart, the good times come to an end! An event happens and panic sets in with an epic crisis way above and beyond what you can handle!

And so, the story goes in this song and is hope for those giving scriptural highlights of God promises to cling to in these trials!

You might not need a song of encouragement now but you will later in life! We’ve all been at the point of discouragement in our lives!

We’ve all been to a point of discouragement in life!

This video song was put together with many tears!  Again, did I say many tears?  Yes, I did!

Things were going along fairly well and then out of nowhere and with no warning it happened! I was hiking and started falling and had my dog pulling one way and I grabbed onto a twig!

Let’s just say it was a very pointed twig and as I grabbed it, it tore right into the center of my hand and it kept tearing from one end in the middle to the other end! And yes, I felt an enormous sting and looked at my hand and it appeared to be really tore badly! I used one hand and held it together and rushed to the emergency!

As the Doctor sewed up my Ripped Hand?

As the doctor sewed up my ripped hand, I was wondering to myself, if this doctor is going to look and see if there is any foreign material in the wound. He did not and for one second, I thought well he should know better! Folks, just don’t trust your doctor as you might think he knows it all?

Several Months later

So, several months later I decided to go to a doctor since a section was not healing up! I kept putting crazy glue and toothpicks in the center of my hand so it will heal up and avoid movement!

In short, I was referred to a hand specialist and he said it needed to be operated on since it looks like a foreign material was in there! I delayed for a few weeks and then went into surgery!

Yes, this was an out-patience surgery but let me tell you, the shot was like 10 hornets all stinging at once in my hand as there were five or more doctors and nurses assisting in the surgery!

I’m thinking to myself, what did I get myself into as I lay there! They put this what appeared to be an ice pack but was a ground on my leg so that if the doctor needed to stop a vein from bleeding he could sever the vein by cauterizing it! I remember the doctor saying he would try to avoid cutting any veins!  Humm…

A Tarp was put around my Face

Then all of a sudden, there was this tarp thrown over my face. For one second, I thought I was dead.   I mean they told me what to expect when I got the shot, but nothing about this veil going over my head as it appeared they did not want me to look during the operation.

And then in the surgery, I noticed my arm feeling spongy tingling dead as they had a tourniquet applied to my arm. Now I was thinking I am really in trouble as I have never had a tourniquet on my hand!

So, I’m thinking my hand is now bleeding and they are trying to stop it! In a matter of minutes, the doctor pulled out two 1/8 to ¼ inch wood chip or bark.

For Six weeks

And for 6 weeks in a row, I have had to see the doctor to examine the results of the surgery! I asked the nurse, what is the longest she has seen a person with stitches still in?  She remarked about 2 or 3 weeks!

I had mine in for 31 days as I believe I set a record with this doctor as he said he does not want to go beyond 3 weeks! So how long was I not able to use my hand?  It started in late April and unto October!

Now just before Surgery, I started working on a song

I started working on this song somewhere in late May with toothpicks holding my wound together with crazy glue! And I think I did one more song, “Worship” and that’s it!

And in the mean time I made a lot of 1-minute videos of my songs for Instagram! When I was struggling to put the words together in this song and sang the words “Comeback”, it was really hard to sing them at first without tears in my eyes.

Without the Lords Words of encouragement in daily reading His Word, there would be no escape from discouragement especially in our times of disappointment.

I encourage all to read Gods Word every day!  Man shall not live by bread alone but every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!

Psalm 37

²³ The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
²⁴ Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

And I wonder to myself, how in the world does the unsaved, or those that think they can make it in this world without Christ get through each day?
