Do not fear, More on Our Side then Theirs
My first thoughts while creating Angles on our side song video was when God uses His invisible army to protect His children from harm when it seems impossible for any rescue! The famous story of Elisha and his servant come to mind where Elisha responded to his servant when overcome by a large army and was certain to be taken captive, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. 2 Kings 6:16-17“.
If God Designs a Rescue
When God plans a miracle to rescue His Children than so be it and blessed be the name of God! If He does not then so be it and blessed be the name of the Lord as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had this attitude when forced to worship a foreign god. God can deliver us, but if He chooses not to, we still will not server your gods, Daniel 3:16-18. And so one may ask the question, who was in the fiery furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Was it an angle or was it Christ pre-incarnate? This was Christ personally since the scriptures says that the fourth form is like the Son of God.
Famous Story of Elisha and his Servant
There was a time when the king of king of Syria was making war against Israel. Each time the King of Syria planed his attack, Israel was prepared in advance and took action to avoid conflict!
It infuriated the King of Syria so much that he asked one of his servants who was relaying this information back to the King of Israel? And the servant said it was Elisha the prophet who knows what you are speaking in your bedroom and relays it back to the King of Israel!
Then the story gets interesting because the furious King of Syria now decides to put an end to the prophet Elisha! He sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city to capture Elisha!
When Elisha’s servant noticed the large army surrounding the city and feared and asked Elisha what are we to do? Elisha prayed to God and asked God to open his eyes to the spiritual realm and see the warriors of God in position to strike against God’s enemies!
And the famous saying is there are more on our side then against us! And then God blinded the Syrian army and they were directed into Samaria where the King of Israel was. Read the rest of the exciting story 2nd Kings chapter 6.
More on our side
Besides thinking of the Elisha and his famous respond to his servant more on our side, I was thinking of murder and wars and how they are started. If you ask this question to someone on the street or in college these days I not sure what the response would be. But looking for a Biblical perspective, its not hard to hit a bullseye directly into the truth and fact why they exist. Certainly a person has power and wants more so its a power control mentality. But when someone envies another person’s property or possessions its called lust. The book of James hits it strait on and explains where wars and murder come from James 4:1-3.
How does Microsoft Word change the Meaning of the Word Steal!
- Bring up any word document and type the word “Steal” in it!
- Double click on the word “Steal” until you see a shaded highlight over the word “Steal”.
- And then a menu of sections comes up choose “Synonym”!
- And what does Microsoft Word give you as the meaning of “Steal“? Bargain, Giveaway, Snip
Don’t think this is by chance or some mistake by the leaders of Microsoft either! There are other example too. The casual college student who has no moral background will believe what corporation Microsoft gives for the word “Steal” and not even consider that its taking of someone else’s possessions without agreement! Just omitting something is telling you something!
True Meaning of the Word Steal
The meaning of STEAL is to take the property of another wrongfully and especially as a habitual practice. Its no wonder while living in a post Christian country that the Big technology corporations help degrade moral values. Even when searching on a browser, as an example comes up with a picture of a basket ball player stealing the ball from another player. Just say it long enough and people will be programed into utter ignorance of truth.
This Song Video was really not on my Mind
I had a piece of music that I though was catching and let my wife listen to it. And to my surprise, she said it was ok but needs some more developing.
I then tried for several days adding some more to the tune but with some piano. Then I added sax and that did not seem to work out to my satisfaction. So maybe a week or two went by and then I come up with a totally different arrangement but this time I left out the piano and just used a sassy sax.
Then I did the vocals and thought I was done, and then asked my wife how is it? And she said it was ok but the lyrics were not much. So I went back and added more that was completely different words and introduction than when I first started! And used completely differently microphones too.
It took some practice and then I recorded a four and half minute song and then added the video.
