Isaiah 19:23 speaks of a time when Egypt and Assyria will live in peace! These passages in scripture have never been fulfilled completely in prophecy and most have ignored this passage. I hardly think that the Arabs in the middle east have even considered these passages of when the middle east nations at war will be a peace with one another!
Ancient Assyria consisted of what we know today as the nation’s Iran, Turkey, Iraq, and Syria. There will be a highway linking Assyria, Egypt and Israel into spiritual and economic harmony as has never before existed. Also note if you read Isaiah 19 that speaks of an altar, but this altar is not for sacrificing animals either. It’s an altar of worship since the savior or messiah is already recognized among nations and that is why there is peace. This happens in the Millennial period.
Thoughts about song Desert Highway of Peace
While producing this song and video I was questioning myself about any benefits of this labor and endeavor. It has crossed my mine several times as to why in the world compose a song on prophesy? Most artist write a spiritual hymn or some love song or some beat that just makes people feel good that sells lots music!
And I can tell you that while figuring out a guitar melody, and attempting to fit it in with a sax melody, with a sort of Arab melody, saying to myself what’s the use in doing this since only a few usually care about prophesy anyways.
It just takes so much time, like weeks and really, I can only guess I would get a couple of likes and maybe 5 or so to watch the video with no forwards to others to watch. Yea it crossed my mind several times! But I think the Lord just gave me the endeavor to do it.
